In collaboration with ALSIA Agrobios has managed the Basilicata Agrometeological Service network consisting of 40 meteorological stations throughout Basilicata.

Within Agrobios, agro meteorological data is verified and distributed via traditional and innovative means (internet/WWW, SMS cellular). Additionally graphs and maps revealing agrometeological data are automatically generated.

In collaboration with the Province of Matera, a system for monitoring mosquitoes was realised in order to rationalize a program for insecticide spraying.

Recently a new service was created in collaboration with MEDITER regarding the phytosanitary treatment of quarantined ships and merchandise at shipping ports. Treatments are carried out in the holds of ships while at the port with qualified personnel and suitable equipment.
