This activity pertains to the qualitative valorisation of agricultural foods. In collaboration with Luigi Veronelli and OLIORO Srl. Agrobios participates in an initiative for the valorisation and traceability of monovarietal oil from stoned olives. Metapontum Agrobios has contributed to the drafting of the manual for quality and traceability as well as regulation of the these specialized olive oils. Agrobios has carried out all of the chemical and organoleptic analysis of these monovareital olive oils derived from stoned olives.
They have also carried out market analysis for specialized olive oil products, food nutritional analysis for single production lots, varietal identification as well as defining genetic profiles for the identification of single varieties. Luigi

In addition Agrobios has carried out a research program for the characterization and valorisation of products for “Olive oil according to Veronelli” by identifying the olive variety and by chemically analysing the resulting olive oil.
The guarantee of quality and traceability of the final olive oil product is witnessed by the tricolour (green, white and red) sticker “Olio Secondo Veronelli” found on each numbered bottle of olive oil.
