In the Agrochemistry
department there are:
- A Chemical laboratory equipped for soil and leaves analysis;
pesticide residues and food quality analysis with GC, GC-MS and HPLC and for sea and fresh
water analysis
- A "panel test" laboratory
for olive oil quality
- An agronomic laboratory equipped with facilities for plant
physiology and post harvest analysis: with 10 lisimeters, 3 refrigerated chambers at
4°C and -20°C
- 18 greenhouses (5500 mq) in glass-steel with lighting system
at 10000 lux and cooling system
- 5 ha of experimental fields.
